On February 26, 2020, Dr. Cansu Canca, Founding Director of AI Ethics Lab in Boston, addressed GRF and GRF Community members at a roundtable meeting. In her speech focusing on the ethical risks posed by everyday artificial intelligence technologies to individuals and society, Dr. Canca examined these risks at both the manufacturer and consumer levels. Dr. Canca stressed that in order to solve the ethical problems that emerge from the application of AI technologies, the self-auditing mechanisms of companies will have to be reinforced by legal regulation. Following her speech, Dr. Canca answered the participants’ questions.
