Roundtable Meeting with H.E. Maciej Lang

H.E. Maciej Lang, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Ankara, met with the members of GRF and GRF Communuties at the roundtable meeting titled “Poland’s EU Presidency and the Future of Relations with Turkey”, held on 29 May 2025. As part of the Ambassadors’ Series, Ambassador Lang shared insights on Poland’s agenda and priority policy areas during its Presidency of the Council of the European Union, which it holds from 1 January to 30 June 2025. He also addressed the developments related to the Russia-Ukraine war, the critical role Poland plays in this context, and his projections regarding the possible course of the conflict.

Ambassador Lang evaluated the current state and future of Turkey-Poland relations and discussed the local and regional implications of the first round of Poland’s presidential elections held on 18 May. Following his remarks, Ambassador Lang answered questions from the participants.
