Roundtable Meeting with
Kostas Fragogiannis,
Deputy Foreign Minister in Charge of Economic Diplomacy of Greece

On February 2, 2024, Kostas Fragogiannis, Deputy Foreign Minister in Charge of Economic Diplomacy of Greece, addressed GRF and TÜSİAD members at a joint roundtable event at TÜSİAD Headquarters, Istanbul. Following openin speeches by Orhan Turan, President of TÜSİAD; Zeynep Bodur Okyay, Chairwoman of GRF; and Ambassador (R) Selim Yenel, President of GRF, Mr. Fragogiannis delivered a speech on the current status and future of the economic ties between Turkey and Greece. Particularly detailing the investment and trade dimensions of the bilateral relationship, Mr. Fragogiannis emphasized that despite occasional political disagreements Greece and Turkey remain in very close cooperation in a variety of economic matters, and reiterated his hope that this partnership will continue to grow in the near future. Following his speech, Mr. Fragogiannis answered the participants’ questions.
