On October 19, 2016, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, H.E. Mustafa Akıncı, addressed GRF members and a group of GRF Community Members at a dinner held at the Divan Istanbul Hotel. During his speech on the current situation of the negotiations over Cyprus, Mr. Akıncı underlined the importance of cooperation between the two communities in key issues such as power and territory sharing, economy, membership to the EU, property allocation, and security. Mr. Akıncı finished his remarks by expressing his sincere hope that the negotiations will be concluded with a solution that benefits all Cypriots. Following his speech, Akıncı received a number of questions from the participants.
