The article entitled "A Test Case for Globalization: The World Trade Organization" written by Ambassador (R) Bozkurt Aran, Permanent Representative of Turkey to WTO (F), Director of Trade Studies at TEPAV and Board Member at Şişecam, was published by the Bretton Woods Comittee.

In his article Ambassador Aran examines the origins of the growing uncertainty in the global trade system. He then assesses the reemergence of the bilateral approach in global trade deals and the challenges this presents for the WTO in reclaiming its role as the central agent of rule making in the global trade system.
