In the ceremony held at the French Palace in Istanbul, Dr. Kaleağası was awarded the title of "Knight of the National Order of Merit" by French Ambassador, Isabelle Dumont.
Dr. Kaleağası, President of Paris Bosphorus Institute, Lecturer at Galatasaray University, and Member of Global Relations Forum, in a ceremony held at the French Palace, Istanbul, on October 20, 2023, was awarded the title of "Knight of the National Order of Merit" by French Ambassador Isabelle Dumont in honor of his position at the Paris Bosphorus Institute, as well as his many contributions to international diplomacy and France-Turkey relations. The "National Order of Merit" is an order of merit established during the Charles de Gaulle presidency in 1963.
