GRF member and GRF Young Academics Program alumnus, Assoc. Prof. Cevat Giray Aksoy has been appointed as a Political Advisor to the House of Lords in the United Kingdom.

Aksoy, who is also the first Turkish national appointed to this prestigious position, will be advising on the future of work—including the impact and future of remote and hybrid work in the UK—and bringing research on labour markets and economic inclusion into high-level policy discussions. He will continue his roles at the EBRD and King’s College London alongside this new appointment.

Assoc. Prof. Cevat Giray Aksoy, (Deputy Director of Research at the EBRD and faculty member at King’s College London) a member of the Global Relations Forum (GRF) and an alumnus of the GRF Young Academics Program 2019, has been appointed as a Political Advisor to the UK House of Lords.

Aksoy, who is also the first Turkish national appointed to this prestigious position, will be advising on the future of work—including the impact and future of remote and hybrid work in the UK—and bringing research on labour markets and economic inclusion into high-level policy discussions.
