GRF Young Professionals Program 2014-2015 Term 2rd and 3th Meetings

 GRF Young Professionals Program
2014-2015 Term
2rd and 3thMeetings

The GRF Young Professionals Program, which aims to provide a platform for young professionals who are equipped with the resolve, background, and experience to contribute to the future of Turkey and the world, held its 2rd and 3th meetings of the 2015 term, on June 13 and July 4, 2015, at the Sicimoğlu Mansion and the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus respectively.

Both of these meetings were dedicated to the topic of “economy, social justice and technology”. Since 5 participants preferred preparing their presentations on the subject of “economy, social justice and technology”, two sessions were held covering the same topic. Participants used a book, which they selected with the GRF team, as a starting point.

A discussion panel was held after each presentation, so as to place the main arguments of each book on the broader picture, i.e. the systemic level.

During the third meeting, in addition to the presentations, GRF and Doğan Holding Vice-Chairwoman, Mrs. Hanzade Doğan Boyner shared her experiences as a businesswoman with the participants, and answered their questions.

The presenters used the following books as starting points in approaching their selected topics:
