Rahmi M. Koç is the Honorary Chairman and Member of the Board of
Directors of Koç Holding A.Ş. Mr. Koç is the Vice Chairman of the Board
of Trustees of the Vehbi Koç Foundation, Chairman of the Board of
Trustees of the Koç University, Founder and Chairman of the Board of the
Rahmi M. Koç Museum and Cultural Foundation, Chairman of the Board of
Trustees of the VKF American Hospital, Honorary President of the
Advisory Board of TUSIAD, Founder of the Global Relations Forum, Member
of the International Advisory Board of the Council on Foreign Relations
(CFR), Honorary Fellow of the Foreign Policy Association, Honorary
Trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City. Mr. Koç is the
former President of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and
former Co-Chairman of the Business Advisory Council for South East
Europe Cooperative Initiative (BAC SEE). Rahmi M. Koç was awarded the
German Government’s Grosses Verdienst Kreuz and was honoured with the
"Order of High Merit of the Italian Republic". His contributions to
Turkey were recognized by the President of Turkey with the "Outstanding
Service Award". Rahmi M. Koç received his Bachelors degree in Business
Administration from Johns Hopkins University.
