Nigar Ağaoğulları Yalınkılıç

Formerly the Executive Director of Global Relations Forum between 2014-2021, Nigar Ağaoğulları Yalınkılıç joined GRF as Program Director in 2009 and has led GRF’s Task Force studies in Energy and Security, as well as its Track-II studies focusing on the Russia-Turkey relationship. Nigar Ağaoğulları has served as the coordinator for GRF’s various international projects, and has taken an active role in the organization’s Middle East and EU Task Forces. She graduated from Georgetown University in 2002 with a B.S. degree (cum laude) in Foreign Affairs concentrating in Culture & Politics as well as minorities, and she completed a certificate programme in Muslim-Christian Relations. Nigar Ağaoğulları holds an MSc degree (merit) in Social and Public Communication from The London School of Economics with specializations in corporate communications, social psychology and corporate social responsibility. After she interned at Arı Grubu in Istanbul; Western Policy Center in Washington, DC; and the Turkish Mission to the UN in New York, she began her career at an international law firm, Shearman & Sterling LLP. Following her return to Turkey, she worked in the family business as a Strategy and Business Development Coordinator and served as a consultant to several companies during her term at Medyaevi Communication Consultancy. Most recently, Nigar Ağaoğulları Yalınkılıç has worked in the Strategy and Business Development Department of Dogan Holding. She is fluent in Turkish, English and French.
